Design Narrative

This home exhibited beautiful trim and finishings of early 1900s Denver Architectural style although the layout did not lend itself to a functional home of today's time.

To drive this home forward for today's lifestyle an exterior addition was designed to expand the kitchen at the main level and create a unique primary suite above.

Incorporating a wrap around porch allowed the space to reach into the backyard for indoor outdoor living. Charm and personality were mixed in to the new structure to unite the old and the new.
